What’s the minimum age to join?The minimum age is 14 years if you do a program with one of our personal trainers ($69) and you are accompanied by a parent or guardian who will sign you up (and proof of age). 15 years if you do the program mentioned above then you can come in by your self but you do need a parent’s signature on signing up(and proof of age). 16 years you need proof of your age and can sign up by yourself.

Do you do one-off membership for visitors to Christchurch?Certainly! We offer various options to cater to your needs. If you're looking for a one-time entry, please visit us during our office hours. For those visiting Christchurch for a few days, we have a convenient pay-as-you-go option that grants you a 24/7 access key. Alternatively, you can choose from our 10-entry or 20-entry concession passes. These casual membership options provide flexibility to suit your schedule and preferences. How does Bring-a-Friend add-on work?You can either add this during the initial sign up, or add it later on. Important notes: Your friend have to enter their details by using the iPad at reception > first time friend > enter details (including emergency contact) Scan in at the bring-a-friend scanner above reception iPad when your friend is visiting the gym with you You can bring different friend, but only 1 friend at a time You CANNOT swap key Minimum term for add-on: 1 month Cancellation notice period: 2 weeks (after you meet the minimum term)

What are the membership payment options (direct debit & credit card vs pay-in-full)?We offer flexible payment options to suit your preferences. When signing up, you can choose to pay weekly, fortnightly, or opt for a pay-in-full membership. With the weekly or fortnightly payment options, your payment will be automatically deducted by our trusted direct debit company, Payrix. This allows you to enjoy the convenience of hassle-free payments while being locked into the agreed-upon terms for the duration of your membership. On the other hand, the pay-in-full membership is a fixed-term option, providing you with a set duration for your membership upfront.

Will buying a membership online give me instant access?Absolutely! We've streamlined the process to ensure you can start your workout without any hassle. After signing up, you'll receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to set up Bluetooth access using your phone. You can conveniently collect your gym key during our office hours at a time that suits your schedule. We're here to make your sweat session as easy and seamless as possible!

I've signed up online, how do I access the gym? when can I collect the key?Welcome aboard! Kindly check your email for a temporary key code that will grant you access to the gym before you collect your physical key. Alternatively, you can download the GymMaster Member's app and set up access on your phone (remember to enable Bluetooth). Gym key collection is available during our office hours: Monday – Thursday 12:00pm – 7:30pm Friday 12:00pm – 6:00pm Saturday 10:00am – 2:00pm If these times don't suit your schedule, please reach out to us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do I use my free PT session?Typically, one of our personal trainers will reach out to you. However, if you prefer, you can proactively choose a personal trainer who aligns with your goals and preferences. Take a look at their specialties on our PT page, and feel free to contact them via email, text, or a quick call to schedule a session at a convenient time. Your chosen personal trainer will then guide you through the process from there.

Can I bring a friend and how many can I have?To enjoy the benefit of bringing a friend along, simply add the bring-a-friend add-on to your membership for an additional $4.99 per week. How long can I hold membership?If you need to take a break from your membership, you have the option to put it on hold for a maximum of three months per year. It's important to note that if you are paying weekly or fortnightly, this hold period will extend your minimum term accordingly. Can I transfer my membership?Yes, you can. To transfer your membership to another person, both you and the individual you're transferring it to will need to visit our reception during office hours. Our team will facilitate the transfer process for you. Please be aware that a transfer fee of $30 will apply. If the office hours are not suitable for you, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to assist you and find a solution that works best for your circumstances.
